Funding Opportunity Announcement: Social Inclusion of individuals with dementia and carers

We are pleased to announce that the new CIHR funding opportunity on Social Inclusion of individuals with dementia and carers has been launched. Social Inclusion of individuals with dementia and carers has been launched.

Living with dementia can prove to be a barrier to social inclusion, both for the individual affected, as well as their carers. For example, day-to-day activities, such as driving, making financial and health care decisions, and remaining independent in the community are key areas where the challenges for the person with dementia can be the greatest.

This funding opportunity is launched in partnership with the CIHR Institute of Aging (IA), the CIHR Institute of Neurosciences, Mental Health and Addiction (INMHA) and the Alzheimer Society Canada (ASC).

Cette possibilité de financement est lancée en partenariat avec l’Institut du vieillissement et l’Institut des neurosciences, de la santé mentale et des toxicomanies des IRSC ainsi que la Société Alzheimer du Canada.

Application Deadline: 2016-09-20
