“Remember, I ski for Alzheimer”
DONATE in support of “Remember, I ski for Alzheimer”. In memories of his aunt Celine Augustin who died of Alzheimer’s disease and his uncle Lionel Lazure also diagnosed with the disease, the skier Pierre-Marc Jetté had the inspiration of organising a fundraising event to show his support to the Alzheimer’s cause by donating funds to the Federation of Quebec Alzheimer Societies. Pierre-Marc Jetté decide to challenge himself by skiing 3 000 000 vertical feet and to give back 10 cent for every vertical foot skied. With more effort, Pierre Marc hope to reach 4 550 000 vertical feel which would represent a Guiness World record. Guiness World Record has indeed been approached and procedure is on-going. Join Pierre-Marc in Whistler (BC) during the ski season 2014-2015 and help him achieve 2 records: Pierre-Marc own record and your record by joining the first-in-kind Alzheimer’s fundraising event. We all know someone affected by Alzheimer’s disease or other dementia and we count on your generosity!
