As part of activities highlighting the national Campaign for Alzheimer’s Awareness which continues until January 31, today, at the ITHQ, the Federation of Quebec Alzheimer Societies (FQAS) presented “The Gastronomic Experience,” to some forty guests, in collaboration with its partner, SOSCuisine, as well as the Institut de Tourisme et d’Hôtellerie du Québec (ITHQ) and its sponsors Les éditions Ville-Marie Littérature and Les viandes de la ferme.
This epicurean and highly educational experience was intended to remind us all that life goes on after a diagnosis has been received. “People living with Alzheimer’s can continue to do the things they like and remain active within their social circle and their community,” noted Jean-François Lamarche, FQSA’s Executive Director and CEO.
